rocker panel replacement question
I just discovered the vertical lips under the door sill plates of my project 66 cab (that hold the weatherstrip) are rusted - I can't find a picture of a replacement rocker that shows this lip - is that lip part of an outer floor panel which I will need in addition to the rockers?
Also, is MIG welding the best approach for replacing the rockers? |

Re: rocker panel replacement question
Heres a pic. sorry its not a close up. If its just the vert part thata rusted you can just fix that and not the whole panel. We use a mig to put on cause we have one. They used to braze them on and /or stick weld also.

Re: rocker panel replacement question
Mike-
Thanks - that shows what I need (definitely need both complete rockers, have some holes underneath also). Bookmarked your site and will be in touch. |
