Hey all, I stumbled upon this site a few days ago and have been reading the post board whenever I can. I purchased my 69 C10 lwb from the original owner about a year and a half ago. I haven't done much, just some mechanical stuff, but lost interest about 4 months ago. Needless to say I have renewed interest in this truck since finding this site. I hope to turn this truck into my daily driver, needs A/C and pwr steering first.

The truck has around 41K original miles, 350, three on the tree, mild cam(installed by original owner, the transmission is out of a 72 and so is the rearend. Truck has a few options, not many, and it was repainted once in 1972 or 73 by the dealer. For what reason I don't know. The real catch is I only paid $1800 for her because she wouldn't run when I went to look at her. Found that the wire to the HEI was connected to the "tach" side and not the "batt" side.

Welcome from Utah. Nice truck. Looks like for the past 30 years it was only driven to church on Sundays. Sweet deal. Mine had more dents than a golf ball for that price.
