1970 GMC 3/4 ton

hey guys i have a 70 gmc with a 402 bbc all numbers matching...i want to lower the truck as much as possible with out breakin the bank so i was thinkin about using the drop leaf springs for the rear...anybody use them? and also i cant stand the drum breaks and wanted to go disc in the front and all around 6 lug conversion and i have someone who will sell me all the parts for 900 bucks...i wish the truck had to coil rear but ya is this a good idea or what you guys think?
