anyone know heads

Picked these up several years ago for a good price (50 bucks), partial casting number is 2183, center bolt

Now that I have problems with my original heads I would like to use these

Engine is a 70-80 years(I'm not good at figuring out the stamped numbers on the block) 305 or 350. Heads seem to bolt up, although 2 seem to be shorter, angle on the manifold looks good. I don't know if the oil and water passages line up

Any thoughts?? Thank you for looking

Re: anyone know heads

Those are 87-95 style 350 TBI heads. You can use them with no problems on a older model block, but you will have to slot your intake bolt holes.

Well Thank You for the info, that's great! I'll make sure to pay attention to the mounting holes on the intake. Any idea on the lenght of the pushrods, same as my old heads? Are the rocker arms 1.5 ratio?

Re: anyone know heads

Yep, you're right! Mounting bolts need just alittle bit of work

Re: anyone know heads

Pushrods should be the same as long as you're using a flat tappet cam. Hyd. Roller will use a shorter pushrod.
