WTB: Outer Front Bumper Brackets From a Power Steering Equiped 69-70 2wd Chevy Pickup
Looking for a set of outer front bumper brackets from a 69-70 2wd Chevy pickup.
They should be shaped like the ones below. The left bracket has a straighter/flatter end like the one in the pic below. |

Thanks for the pics. They do look a lot like the pic I posted. Do you know what they came off of and if it had power steering?

Unfortunately I can't find any measurements here on the forum. I have only been able to find two pictures of the correct brackets.
Here are the two pics: |

I flipped one of your pics trying to compare your bracket with the "flatter" end to the one that says "L.F. Bumper Supt" in the top pic of my last post. Would you be able to take a pic from an angle to show if it looks like the brackets in the other two pics. I'm sure that your other bracket is correct for the passenger side but it's the driver's side that I really need. I have put a red rectangle around the bracket in question in your pic.
I just want to make sure it's the same as the others before I purchase them. Thanks |

The guy I bought my bumper bracket from had another identical set. The driver side bracket I got is the second from the top of the photo. The one at the top is what you need. He charged $30 for a pair (he wouldn't sell just one). I can go get the other set for you, if you want, if you just reimburse me for the $30 plus shipping.

I picked up the brackets. Here are some photos. The driver side is the same length as the one I installed on my truck. There is no "P" stamped on it. They have a bit of undercoating on them, but it should come off fairly easily.

Here are some photos of the driver side bracket next to mine and installed on my truck. It actually fits better than mine against the bumper.

Here are some photos of the passenger side bracket sitting next to the NOS driver side bracket I had on my truck previously. The angles all look the same.

Looks like pjmoreland put in a lot of time and effort to make sure you received the correct parts that you needed. Nice to see a person going to such great lengths to help another person out. Hats off to pjmoreland

Based on your photos, I think your brackets are the same as these. I barged in in the middle of this situation, so I'm sorry about that!

Hey atog, I PMed you on the 5th when I found out about the measurement info for the driver's side bracket but I never heard back so I figured the set you had wasn't a match for what I needed. If they are, I'm still interested in them. Never hurts to have a spare set. Let me know.
Here's a pic that shows the measurement. |

I have a set of them. The ones I showed first were wrong luckily pjmoreland showed the correct ones otherwise I would of sent you the wrong ones. No problem at all if you don’t want these. No feelings hurt on my end
