67 gmc body parts, small letter tailgate, grille and more

getting ready to change over to chevy body parts. figured i might as well list these here to check interest. i am looking at this weekend to switch over the parts. will pull before if sold locally. here`s what i have

1. 67 gmc grille with headlight bezels. this is a painted grille. nice condition. good be chromed if wanted. $150
2. 67 gmc core support with 4 bulb setup. will include spare 4 buckets and trim rings. has the usual bad spot under battery. easy fix for someone wanting original stuff. also has 4 new bulbs installed. $80
3. 67-68 chevy/gmc hood. really nice condition. $50 has 1 hole in it see pics below.
5. 67 8 foot fleetside bed sides. outside is in good condition inside lip needs some work. $125 drivers $75 pass or $175 for the set pass side has 2 small rust holes behind the wheel well drivers looked good.
6. steel floor header panel. really straight. $70 couple of the bolt holes were cut to get bolts out(not by me). still nice panel
7. cowl panel $15
in need of inner fenders or a soft tonneau cover if anyones interested in trading for something.

you want pics of the sides of it? or the inside part of the bed of it?

got a no antenna hole cowl to put on and got a new bed with an actual floor in it. mine has a makeshift wood floor in it. the floor supports would need replacing on mine.

just took these(getting dark so thats all i can get for tonight. if its not what you want let me know and i`ll get some tomorrow afternoon. shipping is possible(wont be cheap). would go down to $450 without the hardware(i could use the handle and long bars inside and end latch for my new gate). just throwing that out there.

Thanks. If you could get some pics of the whole bedside and any dents inside or out not pictured already that would be good. I see so many banged up from stuff rolling around in the bed. Also is greyhound an option for you? If so, price to Mpls area.

Re: 67 gmc body parts, small letter tailgate, grille and more

ok lets see if this works for you. the bed is just about dent free that i see. i dont think they ever hauled anything. no clue why the original bed floor rotted out. sucks it did or i would keep this one. the inside lip needs work and there are 2 small holes in the inside panels. 1 in front of the wheel well on the drivers side, and 1 on the pass side near the rear of the panel. the front panel is nice.

Sorry I meant to say pics of the "bed side" of the tailgate. Just want to know about the tailgate and any dents, filler, previous repair, or other issues it has.

sorry for that. i saw bedside and was thinking the side panels. dont know why when you asked about the tailgate. i will figure out someway to show the "dent" i was talking about. think thats the only issue. will get some pics of both sides. if i can get some time i will take it off and get a bottom pic too.

My son lives near Rochester, so that seems to be the answer for pick up. My main concern is rust, as we both know we live in the rust belt. Pics would be great, but I want you to know I will be leaving for vacation on Sat. for a weeks vacation, just in case I don't respond to your thread or PM's. Not sure if I will internet access, maybe on my phone

Re: 67 gmc body parts, small letter tailgate, grille and more

Thanks for the pics and checking that out. Due to what you've found on the hood, I'm a tad nervous the PO may have covered some things up on the tailgate with filler. I'm definitely still interested but need more assurance. Maybe test all areas with a magnet or maybe theres another way to know for sure?

Re: 67 gmc body parts, small letter tailgate, grille and more

no problem. like i said i saw the spot on the hood and it looked like a paint edge(were it wasnt sanded good). the tailgate only had that 1 spot with the same look. but wehen i sanded it went away(can see bare metal). only had a few 220 grit sandpapers so i couldnt do it all. will go out and check with a magnet. i have a small lightweight magnet on the bottom of a mirror.

Re: 67 gmc body parts, small letter tailgate, grille and more

I would do 475 shipped on the gate. Should be able to do greyhound to keep shipping reasonable.

let me look into shipping tomorrow. i need to get a weight. as far as packing it should i build a box for it? i could do a 2*4 frame with plywood top and bottom. hows that sound? are you ok with me keeping the handle and harware for it(seeing i`m going even alittle lower on price i think its fair)?

i can do paypal or money orders. for paypal i just ask that its sent as a gift so i dont get hit with the 3% fees(or add the 3% to the total to cover fees). or pm me for address to send money order. either way is fine. paypal is kmalone02@verizon.net
