Re: My 72' on the beach of lake powell
Thanks guys, here's a short video. Was really soft and I didn't let any air out of the tires otherwise I probably would've made it. Yeah that's my girlfriend laughing....

Looks like you can have some fun on those rocks. Makes me want to finish my Jimmy to go off-roading sooner.

Man that’s a nice truck I'm really loving it.
What size tiers, rims and lift are you running? Anymore pics? |

Re: My 72' on the beach of lake powell
33-15-12.5 tires and rims, I'm wanting to go with some skinnier tires and some 16" rims though once I wear these out. Has a 4" lift on it. Rides like a lumber wagon..

Re: My 72' on the beach of lake powell
You said something that I'm curious about. I dont currently own a C10 but am planning on buying a 4x4 and fixing it up. I am always on this forum looking for ideas and tips for when I finally get around to my build. Something that is just as important to me a big engine and tiers is making it ride and handle good. You said it handles like a "lumber wagon". What can be done to make these trucks ride and handle great? What do you plan on doing to yours to change this?

Re: My 72' on the beach of lake powell
Well I don't plan on doing anything to change how it rides. It's an old 4x4 and not much can be done to make it ride smoother. Stock they don't ride too bad but the lift springs on the front are quite stiff and that is why it rides like a "lumber wagon".
