Question Most unique body mod that you have seen?

What is the most unique, crazy or straight up bad ass body modification that you have done or seen? Fenders, hood, grill, tailgate, taillights, bumpers. Have at it I want to see what is out there. Of course pics are always great.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I saw a stepside using a narrowed front bumper from a 72, as a rear bumper. The turn sigs were now the brake lights. It looked good.

I have a couple on my 70 stepper I'll share. Frenched antenna and my dual exhaust exits the rear fenders.

"Hd1084"
I like how the exhaust exits out the fender.. Now if you just added the flame thrower tips to it that would be a sight to see.

I'm not a custom guy. Mild custom is as far as I go. Why mess with perfection? But,to each their own. I like subtle changes, though, like that roll pan running between the fenders rather than down from the bed creating a big bulging diaper look. Andy's front bumper is another subtle change I can appreciate.

Edit: Oops,I meant to quote the original post of HD1084

Re: Most unique body mod that you have seen?

We have a BINGO!!!!
I am new to the forum and I think that I will have to "take my ball and go home" I started a thread and got in over my head. I am afraid that it will be very difficult to find any better.
Very nice.

Thumbs up Re: Most unique body mod that you have seen?

I guess this thread should say in the title on a "driver are pure show truck". Either is fine just that most show trucks have unlimited funds from sponsor's to do as they want. Most people can't afford a $30,000 paint job to drive everyday.

I will take either or-- daily driver or show truck. I am looking for different ideas. And one day I will lay out my custom vision.

Re: Most unique body mod that you have seen?

I've put pics up of this one before from the carlise truck show.
I like the custom touches on this truck although I'm more of a oe kinda person this truck doesnt look outlandish(on the outside) one of the cool things done to it is the dimple in the roof.
I think even the chop is tasteful and the lil' lip on the top of the tailgate
I really dont like the seats though

WOW,
So many custom touches to that one that as soon as I thought that I had seen all of them then I notice another. WOW-- so much attention to detail.

Re: Most unique body mod that you have seen?

i like the way this gent did away with the add-on aux fuel tank doors (for dual saddle tank trucks) and molded in a later-model fuel door. I'd prefer a cleans slabside for th ebed personally, BUT, I think this subtle mod is light years better looking than the stock aluminum doors that always seem to be out of whack and bent and crooked. And aluminum...

Didn't meet the owner, but he was at the last Brothers Truck Show parked right next to the orange overhaulin C20.
