Lowering 88 3/4 ton Suburban

I am debating to lower my 88 suburban, which will be 3/4 ton. I want to be able to tow my camaro with it. I just want to add some attitude to the vehicle. I am not opposed to airbags, but I would like to do it with springs. Just a little bit lower for attitude. Any ideas? BranZ

you could do a flip in the back or a lowered shackle and either a drop spindle or drop springs in the front, depending on how low you need to go you can do both -kyle

Would this hurt the towing capabilities of the vehicle? I do not want to make the vehicle worthless for towing. Thanks, BranZ

Burbs present a little more of a challenge when lowering than a regular truck, but you should be able to get away with a spindle / spring set up in the front ( 3-4" drop depending on taste ) and a shackle kitr in the rear. ( this would be between 2-4" of drop )

I wouldn't personally recommend doing a flip kit if you are planning on towing alot, so you can still maintain proper clearance between the frame and rear end housing.

I ran a Crew Cab dually lowered 4/ 4 with the above shackles and it would tow anything. Plus it had a nice rake too.

Hope this helps.

Rear: pull a couple leafs or drop shackles then get a set of help bags. When you towing you can air it up to get your capaicty back. Front I would do spindles if you can find them for a 3/4 ton.
