Turn signal switch replacement

I need to change the turn signal switch in my 1972 C-10. It has tilt and PS. I understand that the wires and plugins go down inside the steering column. Any advice or instructions that can be offered up will be greatly appreciated. I have the steering wheel off and am looking at the top of the switch.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Turn signal switch replacement

#3 removed the connector pins prior to running the wires through the column.
