Re: wtb front lower crossmember bracket

I've got a rolling 67 frame if they are same. I assume they will work. I'll have to check if the ones on it are in good shape. Might be able to get what you need.

Fellas, those aren't brackets, those are the crossmember itself. It's the whole thing, side to side.

Re: wtb front lower crossmember bracket

They have 4 bolts that attach to the frame on each side and 4 rivets that attach them to the crosmember on each side that will need to be cut off.

Bolt 18 goes through the crossmember and the frame not the upright part he's speaking of.

You're gonna have to really work to get those brackets off the crossmember. You've got some rivets to overcome.

is the steering box tight or does it have some slop? the one I have now has some about a 1" or 2" free play left to right?
also would you buy chance be interested in a turbo 350? the reason I ask is may be we could do some trading. the tranny works great I had bought a 5 speed(gas mileage). the only thing is it needs the filler epoxied to the base and I could take care of that for you. I also have a trans cooler, factory torque converter and all the lines for it. figured I would put it out there?

The frame is nice! The brakcets I need are in good shape correct? They are hard to see. The top looks great just cant see lower portion. Is that a lwb or swb?
