Re: Weight
If you need an exact weight and the truck is moble you could take it to a truck stop that has a scale.

Re: Weight
wouldn't gross weight be totally loaded... as in GVW?
look on the plate in your door jamb, it'll give you the GVW If you are looking for vehicle weight, and need a somewhat acurate number, run to a truck stop and get on the scale... it'll cost 10 bucks or so, but those scales are certified. The weight varies way too much from one truck to another to give an acurate number, figure 4000... give or take 600. |

Re: Weight
Here is a pic I took while sitting in my 70 LWB at a moving company with half a tank of gas. When I got out the number dropped 240 lbs.

Re: Weight
My brother hauled ours up from Phoenix to Wa. on his flatbed car trailer without any trouble. Knowin him he probably did 90mph most of the way. The trailer had 3000 Lbs axles.

Re: Weight
I don't know about where you're from, but the weighscale, being closed at night, is open for anybody to just come up and weigh their truck. Some buddies and myself checked ourselves out, my friend's V8 S-10 weighed 3100lb, my buddy's 90 GMC about 4500lb or so. My 97 weighs 5880 with me in it. I was suprised.
