exhaust system mounting pins
Just recieved my Clifford intake. It says to remove the exhaust system mounting pins. Any ideas how to get them out? The pins don't really have anything to do with the intake. I do have to mount my headers though.

Re: exhaust system mounting pins
Ok I know vise grips dont work. And the ones at hf break when you really torque on them. This much I know I'm thinking I need to weld a nut on the end or somthing? They do screw out right?

I haven't taken any out of an I-6, but on all the V-8's they just press in. You will need to turn them to get them loose, but they don't have threads as far as I know.

Heat and a big pipe wrench. They did screw out.
