drop spindles???

If I was to put 2 1/2 drop spindles on my 63 C10 do I have to change over to disk brakes? I really don't have the cash to do that at this moment becasue I would have to switch to a brake booster and master cylinder as well. At least that is what I have gathered from reading different posts.

Am I correct?

Mark

P.S. I already have 3 inch springs on the front and 4 inch in the rear. I plan on running a 2 inch lowering block out back after I address the front.

Re: drop spindles???

As far as I know, yes. They do not make dropped spindles for drum brakes.
