Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Where does this part go?

After an exhaustive internet and library search and after talking to the the gentleman that actually designed the part I have your answer.....a headlight fluid adjuster checker lever. That'll be 19.95 please!

Do I need to get halogen fluid for that?

I still have one bracket from my '66 restoration that I don't know where it goes. Truck seems to be OK without it.

I was just looking at my pile of parts for my '67 and saw one that I can't remember where it goes. Oh well - the lighter it is the faster it goes...

Oh that's classic. It's probably a bracket from a '52 Studebaker that found it's way into your parts.

Re: Where does this part go?

Dave's72GMC- Sorry for the funny answers. It does sort of look like part of the auto trans linkage - is it the piece that bolts onto the frame? I don't have a stock one on hand to check for sure.

Re: Where does this part go?

I have to go against the grain and say it's not part of the auto trans linkage. That being said, I don't have a clue as to what it might be. Perhaps it's the flux capacitor bracket?

It ain't a rear bumper bracket as I just installed a pair of new ones and their longer than that. Heavy duty ashtray retainer for a C-30?

Not sure what it is , but it looks like it has some battery acid on it, maybe under one of the battery trays...horn bracket extension????
