LMC Wiring harnesses
Anyone ever use these? I see on their catalog you can buy the different sections individually. I'm a neat freak and want to tidy everything up. Though about buying each section and replacing them as I get them. Anyone ever done this? How difficult is it?

I have bought one harness from LMC. I had a question about it and when I called to ask someone, I found out that the folks who take the calls don't know diddly about the stuff they sell. The question was asked after I had already gotten the part.
I bought harnesses from Wes at Classic Heartbeat. I had already been on-line and had the catalog from M&H Electrical Fabricators. Their website is www.wiringharness.com. Their stuff is all factory color-coded, correctly marked, with the correct connectors and available to accomodate HEI's, one-wire alternators, etc. Wes saved me some money over the M&H list prices. Classic Heartbeat is one of the vendors on-site. As an aside, the AC stuff I have also includes a new wiring harness from M&H. How're you liking that new truck?

Sounds good Ray I'll check them out, thanks! The truck is great. Just trying to tidy a few things up but otherwise its good to finally have it home. Thanks again for all the previous help too!!
I'll be with you on that a/c setup soon too.

M&H is an electrical fabricator. They may GM-approved harnesses, that conform to GM specs. If you've looked at the site, you know what we know. As for their stuff, vendors on-site wouldn't be selling 'em if they weren't quality stuff. I've also spoken to them on their diime, and they are nice folks with lots of helpful info.
As for buying from LMC, it's your money. But, like I said before, if you have a question or a problem.....LMCs' folks are just people who take your order. They don't know sic 'em from c'mere about your issues.

M&H is good. I've used them without any problems. What I like is that each harness comes with a tag signed by the guy who made it up. personally. Also they're made in USA.

I myself is re-wiring my truck using a Painless Kit part #10204, not the exact one for our trucks but made it work by re-pinning the firewall connectors. I bought this kit off of some guy that had to get rid of it for cheap. Its going fairly smooth and easy to use. Half way done and the engine compartment working as advertised. Have heard good things about the American Autowire Harness....Will post pics when some what done. I also have the part numbers needed for the firewall connectors(male & female pins) if needed, my local Napa auto parts had them
