LT1 Question

Hey everybody with LT1's, I am having a problem getting my LT1 to start. I had the VATS programmed out of the ECU but it still doesnt seem to be firing the injectors. Anyone have any tips on troubleshooting this?

Thanks,

Clay

Re: LT1 Question

Hmm, there is a guy on the corvette forum having the same problem, look in C4 tech tips to see if he finds a solution.

Re: LT1 Question

OBD1 or 2 LT1? Does it crank and not start or does it not crank at all? Have you verified fuel pressure at the rail, spark from the coil and the signals from the opti?

Go to this site and look around in the how to and component location links.

Re: LT1 Question

Sorry it is OBD 2 (96') the engine cranks, but I bypassed the VATS for that anyway, I havent checked the pressure yet, but have used two different pumps with no success. I have spark because it will start on Starting Fluid. I dont know about the opti signals, I will look around. I put a brand new one on the engine while it was out so idk. thanks for the info.

Re: LT1 Question

Ok everyone, I have solved the problem, after three days of b/s I was not getting keyed power to the PCM. There was a fuse missing in the fuse box, she fired right up after I put in a fuse.

Thanks to all!
