What Do You Guys Do For Washer Nozzeles?

One of my nozzeles is plugged and they are not that great anyway, so I was wondering if anyone has done some kind of upgrade. Was thinking about hood mounted ones but not sure I wanna drill holes without seeing what it would look like. Surely someone has had issues with theirs. Lets see some pix please.

Re: What Do You Guys Do For Washer Nozzeles?

You can usually clear them out with a fine drill bit.

I bought some from LMC that I was going to mount on the cowl, but I'm also looking into adapting the wiper arms (instead) to use the squirters that mount onto the arms that the newer models use.

If you want to PM me your address I will send you a good pair. That way you will have working washers until you find something else...

Cool Re: What Do You Guys Do For Washer Nozzeles?

I did this mod 10-12 years ago. this way you get full windsheild coverage also. I love them.
Got everything out of a small GM car, tank with electric pump and nozzles. Wired it to the factory switch.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What Do You Guys Do For Washer Nozzeles?

I tried the drill bit idea, but I don't have one long enough.I'll have to try and find a longer one.

Leon, thanks for the offer. I might take you up on it if I can't clear mine.

Thanks for the pix Andy. I'm looking for ideas like that, but if it's been so dry here that wipers may become an accessory!
