cab bushings
Hey was wondering if anyone can tell me the thickness of 69 c10 cab bushings? I replaced mine, but went with the cheapest I could find. The cab and bed lines don't match up nor do the fender lines. Yes everything lined up before replacement. The only thing I can think of are cab bushings aren't as thick as originals.

Re: cab bushings
Don't know thickness, all I know is you should replace all bushings to get things to line back up.

Re: cab bushings
Interesting... you might have to loosen some panels and start realigning everything. Pics of the misaligned panels might help. You might want to pm an admin to get this thread moved to the 67-72 message board. You would get a lot more traffic there than in the projects and builds here.

Re: cab bushings
I think checking the original bushing dimensions is a good first step. Then you can always use some large washers as shims to get the right dimensions still using the bushings you have bought. I've also heard that due to some manufacturing issues the frames were not perfect from the factory so, if I remember right, there should be an extra 1/8" washer on the front left cab bushing to make everything aligned.

Re: cab bushings
Everything lined up before replacing the bushings except the bed, the cab sat a little lower. The original bushings came out in pieces, what there was of them. I found a post somewhere that someone said they were around 3" thick, but that doesn't sound right.
