VIN question
I was wondering where the vin is stamped on the cab? Also, what are the numbers for on the firewall behind the wiring harness running along the top?

There is no VIN stamped in the cab... but there SHOULD be a plate in the drivers door jamb below the striker post.
Numbers on the firewall on the passenger side... if i remember right, is nothing but the model number... compair it with the model number on your glove box option sheet. |

My 72 also has a sticker on the back of the door itself that has the VIN printed on it.

well, there is a sticker on the glove box door and it is stamped on 2 parts of the frame too ... but not stamped anywhere on the cab.
