side wall hieght
when you get the numbers for the sidewal hieght do you count the "bead" as part of that hieght????. i know it's a stupid question but hell "there are no stupid question" hahaha yeah right

Hmmm, that is a good question.
I would say no, since the bead is not part of the sidewall. One thing to remember, hardly any of the tires are exact on the formula. A 60 series is not always exactly 60% of the tread width. If you look at 2 tires that are measured as the same size by there manufacturers sizeing...they will not always match up. |

another question
ok i did some math one tire sidewall hieght is 3.8582....blah blah blah. the other is 3.78....blahblahblah.....you think by looking at it you will notice the rear tire wide wall is smaller then the front or should i just slap 275 all around......grrrrrrrrr

pimpin lol, nope i'm the only bad mofo that has this setup that i know of in my area. all new chevys with 20's have 275/50/20 and those are some huge sidewalls. a little to big for my b**** lol.:p

well I don't know about other tire manufactures but the ones I build for Michelin are all the same size. each (product) or rubber that is used has to be within 2 mm. The side wall should not include the bead area from what I understand.

I plan on running 20x8.5 with 275/45/20 on all four corners. I am not for sure what it would look like. I might go with 20x10 in back. Anybody have pics of any 20x8.5 from behind?
