Unique engine/drivetrain swaps...let's see 'em!
I (and many of us out here) want to see all the "frankenstein" trucks on the board. So if you have a LSx, diesel, v6, LT1, tractor motor, turbine, hampsters, import, ford or dodge (god forbid ), etc. post a pic of the engine bay and some stats here!

"Stuffing" that’s and understatement. Have you thought about modifying the firewall for a tad more room? Looks real tight. Can’t wait to see some vids of that beast.

Re: Unique engine/drivetrain swaps...let's see 'em!
Its actually not to bad, Im going to build a sheet metal oil pan with a shorter sump because I want the truck pretty low. The frame is probably 5" off the ground and the Cummins oil pan is about 2" of the ground as it sits right now. I had to swap in a tall tranny hump and modify the K member pretty heavily and of coarse build the motor mounts. It was alot of putting the motor in and taking it out trying to get it fit just where I wanted it. But its in plumb level and the crankshaft is centered in the frame rails. I need to finish the tranny mount then start putting it together work out the bugs then it coming apart for paint. This motor got 22 mpg in the 5700lb truck it came out of. This truck is about 2000lbs lighter so it should get some pretty good mileadge and be fairly quick. Ill do a build thread when I get some more done.

Isn't that a downgrade? Most people put in F@rds.

Re: Unique engine/drivetrain swaps...let's see 'em!
The PO of the PO of the PO of my truck put a Pontiac 400 in my CST10... Runs and drives well... I'm still a little weirded out by it starter is on the wrong side... The Timing Chain Cover/Water pump combo... and the fuel pump being on the wrong side throw me off all the time... I like Chevy power in my Chevy vehicles...

Here's one I saw at the car show yesterday note the suicide doors and the way they split the hood in the middle. Pretty crude rat rod.
