truck bed
This is goin to sound dumb but how hard is it to take the bed off of our trucks thanks

It's not hard at all, It' heavy though, have a good way to get it off. just unbolt it, unhook the wiring harness, and lift it off
i lifted mine off with me and two other guys. NOT RECCOMENDED! Work smart, not hard

are the bolts that hold it down the bolts that come up thru the bed or is it hooked up other places as well thanks

Yeah, the bolts that hold it on go down through the floor and the crossmembers. should be round heads on top and 9/16 on the nuts....if I remember right.

When I took mine apart, I found that the best tool for the job was my trusty flame wrench ( cutting torch). Since my 67 has seen its whole life here in the "salt belt", all of the bolts were pretty much bonded to the rails. And not to mention, the rails were pretty bad themselves. I just cut down the middle, had my 10 year old nephew hold up one bedside and I cut the bolts off. I had stands under them, he was just holding them upright. Then I unbolted the front bed panel and lifted the sides off. I figured that the cross rails were cheap enough, plus, what is it worth in time to try and save them? The whole job took less than 30 minutes.

mine is bet to crap but i sold it to a painter and body man for 200 that is half of what i paid for the dang truck so i am not complain i just never took one off befor and was kinda wandern thanks for the help
