what shocks are Best? stock 72 K5.

I'm looking at bilstein, but saw some coil over shocks?
Any suggestions? Factory K5, 4x4, 31x10.50's. I don't off road, just looking for a good set of shocks to replace original (I think they are) thank for your time.

Re: what shocks are Best? stock 72 K5.

Can't go wrong with just the basic Rancho 5000 shock if you are not hard on the truck off road.

I run a cheap Rancho knock off in my Suburban, and they are fine to this day; I think I've had them on the burb for 15 years now.

The Bilstein 5100 is a premium shock, and cost 3 times what the basic Rancho shock goes for. I ran the 5100 Billy in my 1970 K10 SWB, and found that it was pretty stiff. Later I regretted getting them, when I should have just went with a basic type.
