The LT1 is out! (pics)

Here is a pic. We pulled it saturday morning. It looks good, but the intake or valve cover is leaking oil. Otherwise, it looks perfect..

Ah, what a piece of junk...it leaks oil....just send it my way

Looking good though, that should be a sweet combo for a daily driver.

What are you going to do with the rotors and calipers from the camaro? Are you going to try to use them on your truck?

Be sure and save te flanges that bolt the y-pipe to the manifolds. If you are going to use the manifolds (they are not too bad of a design), you will need these flanges to give to the exhaust shop. They are bigger than other SM Chevys. I had to make mine from plate.

I can't emphasize this enough...change the waterpump and OptiSpark. Hell, do all of the wires and the plugs as well...the ignition is the achilles' heel of the LT1 (and the water pump is the arrow waiting to shoot it...)
