Electric fan
Put an electric cooling fan in my truck. I was told it came out of a Voyager van. It has three connections on it. One is ground. The other two I thought would be for different speeds but there seems to be no difference in the way the fan runs when connected to either one. Does someone know why the two connections?

i dont really know, but i know on some vehicles with elctric fans, they stay on after the car is turned off to finish colling it off, perhaps these have something to do with that? or does this fan run all the time regardless of temp? i dont know>..

Probably one was from a coolant temp relay, and the other from the A/C relay.
They turn on regardles of temp when the A/C is turned on. Do you think a fan from a V-6 light weight will keep your truck cool? |

Fan seems to be working fine so far. Even had soom days where it was near 90.

Cool, I wouldn't think it would.
I prefer an engine powered clutch fan myself. |

Newer Ford's have nice dual electric fans that drop right in back of your radiator, look like they were made for our trucks, lots of wind!
