need help

my step dad changed my distribitor cap and got the wires in the wrong place i need to know the order in which they go in i know where # 1 should be but after that i dont know crap, thanks for the help

Starting with #1 and assumeing its a V8 going clockwise

Looking down on the distributor, you will want to go clockwise: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 if it is a V-8.
