Need help quick! Belt question.
No matter what we try the belt always twists around, we've tried spacers, new pulleys, moving everything around and no matter what it still twists, it's a 307 that belt is on the starter, fan and crank pulleys, any ideas at all? We need to get this thing running today.

Try a slightly wider belt? That's all I can think of.

First question, are you useing the same belt? A lot of times if a belt ever turns over it has a twist in it and will still turn over after you fix the problem. Look at the pullies with engine running. Are they running true or do they have wobble? It is probably one of the larger diamater pullies causing the problem.
