67 progress pics/back half w/22"s

Just a few pics of whats been going on in my garage the past few months.the truck's a 67 LB(cut down to a short bed) I picked up for $50.00,plans are 22" in back 20"up front, full custom link suspension 8 1/2" valves, one 8gal tank all ran off a york compressor.body mods will be NONE! I like trim, mirrors, emblems, drip rails the paint will be bright white, inside the cab will be red with bass boat flake, a 62 impala dash, red daytona carpet, red tuck and roll leather.with no cab or bed the frame lays 1/2" from the ground with the help of a channeld front x-member.

Looks like one heck of a notch... but excellent craftsmanship! What kind of wheels are those?

Re: 67 progress pics/back half w/22"s

I have a few questions! I am about to start on my back half. How tall is your notch? What are you going to do about your driveshaft and the new crossmember. Oh and what size tube did you use for the frame?

thanks, Brad www.gaugemagazine.com

Brad,I went 18" to the bottom of the 2x3 square tube, but the reason I did that was to clear my 22's.it all depends on what size wheel and tire combo you run.as for the drive shaft,I'm going to use a one piece with a slide at the trans. In the pictures you looked at I didnt cut out the hoop part of the crossmember.I have more stuff to do like cap the pipe ends and diamond all the joints.I'll post more pics soon.THANKS FOR LOOKING!
