Re: Best door weatherstrip gasket 70 c10

Lots of posts on this issue.

Lots of guys have used the 87 to 96 Dodge Dakota seals (used) as the slip on the pinch weld and are soft and the correct thickness.
I went and picked up a set off of craigsssss last night and the guy gave them to me. Even pulled them off. They look perfect. Wash em up, and trim a few inched off the length and put em on.
I have heard of guys buying the Honda part # 72315-SVA-A012A Right side and left side. This one is a molded unit that is supposed to be the correct length.
All I can go off of is postings I have read as I have not installed mine yet but the Dakota ones look great.

Used Dakota seals are the way to go. Doors shut and seal great.

I used a set from a 88-98 Chevy truck fit perfect and doors close as they should.

Bought new rubber from precision and my doors wouldn't shut without slamming them with some serious force. Read up on this same issue and went to the local junk yard and pulled some Dakota rubber. Fits great and doors seal nicely. I would recommend this as a good alternative. Precision is also making clip on style rubbers from what I understand I just haven't heard any reviews yet.

Precision Replacement parts products are the best. If door are hard to shut its because they need to break in a bit
