Opinions on Mothertruckers
Has everyone been satified with their service? I am getting a cab from him in a few weeks and he is going to do a few things to it. Cab corner and a rocker. Seems like a nice guy. Hope my cab is nice.

I'd stake my reputation on the fact the Ed Cooper is a stand-up guy.

I bought a couple of items from him and they just showed up as described and well packaged. We talked a while on the phone and I got a real good first impression. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

He really seems like a stand up guy. I haven't dealt with him yet (close a time or two) but everything I have gathered being on the board leads me to that conclusion.

I've talked to him quite a few times on the phone and met him once. Ed will take good care of you.

I bought some parts from Ed a couple or 3 years ago. Price was good, quality was great, he did what he said he would do. I ordered a windshield from him. He shipped it in a heavy wooden crate, but charged me a deposit on it. I quickly returned the empty crate and he QUICKLY returned my deposit. I was very happy with the service and also had a nice long chat with him on the phone. Super nice guy that knows these trucks! I just wish I had known he was there when my brother lived down there in FL. so I could have gotten parts way back in the early 90's. I have been wanting to send him a wish list but I'm afraid I'll end up spending $400-600.

It has been awhile since I bought from Ed @ Mothertruckers.
When I did buy from him I was working on my suspension and the relocation of my fuel tank. He made sure everything I got was correct and was the right fit. We talked on the phone a few times and every time we talked he wanted to know if I was happy with what I got. He is a stand up guy in my opinion and I would highly recommend him to anyone! Chaptr2

Yep, you guys are dealing with a first class guy. I have bought almost every part to my frame off from Ed. I have spent more than $6000 there this year and have not regretted it. OF course, I live about ten minutes from his shop. I go by there and help him and his crew set beds, move stuff or I just hang out for a while. I consider Ed a friend and I even buy him a burger once in a while.
bowite, don't worry about the cab, I've seen all of the cabs he has and they are a good start. He is doing all of my bedwork which required welding up a bullethole and removing a bedside tool and storage box. He did excellent work, you would never know it was there. It was a tricky job too.

I would definately recommend him. I haven't seen any of his body work or anything of that sort, but I can imagine it is good.

By the way Mothertruckers is for sale if anybody is interested in selling parts new and used, you get the domain name, new and used parts inventory and our GM 5% above cost plus the distributer cost with no buy in charge. Email or call (941) 756-4905 for more information. I will help you in getting started for the first year then your on your own. The restoration shop itself is not for sale, only the parts end.

Mothertruckers
What can you say about a guy who knows his trucks, will bend over backwards to make sure you get everything you need and his prices are right on. I was just at his shop today and he had a complete truck there it that had come back from the acid bath. Boy was I jealous! He is top notch in my book.
