Re: black trucks

Black looks good on these trucks, but I'm a sucker for matte black. You didn't say which way you were going, flat, matte or gloss...but all look great and have pros and cons. Good luck.

Re: black trucks

A good friend of mine, he did a 69 Nova I was building for his first car 2 years ago and now his first truck, usually does helmet, bike gas tanks stuff like that, very good work and sure brought the rest of the truck to life. Traded for some engine parts for his 55 2nd gen truck he is building now.

Re: black trucks

Cost a lot more than a sticker to make it go fast, haha. Took 3.5 hrs and a trade on some good parts.

Re: black trucks

What, just a rattle can job... yep it sure is, had plans to paint the truck but no time as everyone elses stuff has to be ready for our car show in a few weeks so too much work for me to do which meant a rattle can satin black job... but then my buddy Tim said too plain so lets fire it up and will be cool and no one will notice the black, except you, haha. So good enough for a while and easy touch up after 4x4ing too.

Re: black trucks

Heres my 74. I use it to haul my DJ equipment. I was bored at this party I worked at so I took a few pics. The 3 trucks in the 2nd post look sick. We should get together and form a black truck gang.

Re: black trucks

Heres mine in satin black spray bomb!
1978 Scottsdale Longbed.

Just did the interior this week. Got tired of the dirty tan color and brown door jams! Just need to do something about that old seat now...
