WTB Power steering bracket

Looking for bracket and wheel well for a factory power steering on a 1964 c-10 We were told there is a hole in the wheel well with a clamp type bracket. I need to locate one. Does anyone have a photo of this unit?

No hole in the wheel well or bracket, that I have ever seen anyways. There is a bracket that holds the hoses that bolts to the top inspection cover on the gearbox.

Tom , What is left on that system? the 64 box is different from the 67-68 box. Chris is trying to get info for his build but I may be putting power steering on my 66. Thanks. Also Chris still wants fenders and doors for his 65 4x4. Give him a call if you get any nice ones Thanks

Re: WTB Power steering bracket

Tom I still have the 3/4 ton 1968 setup . I may try to put it in changing only the brackets. I will pass since I do not want you to have to part a complete one out Gmc Nut can step in but if you get a partial frame bracket set let me know .Thanks

The hole in the inner fender is correct for GMC only. PS hose routing was different.

Re: WTB Power steering bracket

Thanks for the info. Do you know if Chevy had an extra bracket where it went under the fender well? it rubs the hose.

Yes, it mounted to the steering box as sigshooter pointed out above. The system pictured here above looks correct for 63-66 but are you doing a half or 3/4 ton ? 3/4 ton center link is different.

Heres the Chevy bracket, mounts to steering box and passes under the inner fender

Then heres a few on the GMC V6 version.

Re: WTB Power steering bracket

Looks like the V6 GMC Power steering was on the top of the engine so those had the hole through them. Thanks for the photos they show the hoses clearly I think we will have to put a sleeve over the hose. You can see how the fender well left a mark on the hose sleeves. Thanks again for the info.
