Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed or wanted!!

Well I started this thread a few years back with a 1972 3/4 TON truck that I owned and fixed up. I then later sold it and it was shipped to Australia to it's new owner. I bought another 1972 3/4 TON but I am not going through the whole restoration process again. I just want to enjoy the well running truck until I find it another owner. I do love the Longbed Trucks and think they are what a truck is supposed to be. I laugh when I see a short bed truck hauling a couch or something big and it's hanging half way out of the truck. Please post your Long bed Truck with pride on this thread. Bigger is better... That's what she said :-)

Another. To me a LWB 2WD is best simple, standard color scheme or some just solid. Can’t go wrong with Hugger.

Speak of solid 2wd long beautiful color. I hope you beat that.

So many nice trucks in this thread. Cursed the who cuts a LWB to Bud Light only for the balance of days This is my only LWB, 72 Super has seen much better, for starts the cab is naturally vented The block, which had at least one once over before is tired. Burns oil, doesn't stay clean long and I'm starting to feel a miss like distributor, but betting that's wishful. Was a beast in the day, had everything short 4WD. Bottom was light (medium) blue only.

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed or wanted!!

Long beds are true work trucks. They work hard and play hard. I am enjoying the different paint jobs and personal touches each owner gives their truck. This is the best site on the Internet to gain knowledge on these great trucks.

Picked up the cup holder on the sale table at Autozone for $22. I had the fabric leftover. Easy to cover, it is all wood frame with screws for the plastic.

I always liked and drove short beds. Until I laid a thick stack of plywood in the bed I had no clue how much I had missed.
