Front Brake Saddle

I just found a cheap 79 van. It has front disk brakes. I would like to know if someone has tried to exchange the brake saddle with a 1968 C10. It appears to be not much different that the 68. I believe you can exchange the 73-87 easily, but not sure about the van.
Need help answering this question.

Thank you,

Merl c Root

Re: Front Brake Saddle

I think you can use the spindles/rotors/calipers(with the proper ball joints), but the width is different on the van, so the saddle & steer linkage,& a arms are not useable. Maybe someone can add to this.... L
