What is the proper length of the V8 clutch z-bar??

I have both of the bars, one from a I6 and the other from a V8.

Which is the propper one, the longer or shorter one??

I think the V8 Z-bar is shorter than the L6 type because the base of the V8 block is wider. Don't remember if the levers are longer, I was refering to the tube dimension. I have a spare L6 Z-bar I could measure tomorrow.

it's the longer one. I got it to hook up fine.
