I have ordered a lot of parts for my Cherokee without a problem.
I always try to buy locally but sometimes it doesn't make sense.
I.E. I needed a stock cat-back for my Cherokee, muffler shop wanted $100, Autozone wanted $85 for parts, Rockauto was $53 for the parts and that included shipping. For my truck the muffler guy was cheaper than I could buy the parts for.(dual exhaust) $180~
Another example, my Cherokee needed a fuel pump and tank. The guy at the radiator shop wanted $250 to repair the tank, Autozone wanted $140 for the tank and $80 for the pump, Rockauto had the tank for $85 and the pump for $27 and shipping was $15.
As for small parts unless you are already getting big parts shipped from the same warehouse( Rockauto uses multiple so beware of shipping charges at checkout) they will always be cheaper locally.
If you do order from Rockauto do a coupon search in google as they always have a 5% discount available.
