What 350 SB alternator bracket(s) do I need?

I have a 1971 350 SB and would like to swap the alternator to the drivers side. What alternator bracket(s) do I need to swap this over?
Thank you.

Short water pump or long? And may also vary by the year the block was cast.

I thought about water pump after posting....... I believe it is a tall/long water pump. I have to get the casting dates but the front ledge numbers indicate a 1971 El Camino.

Re: What 350 SB alternator bracket(s) do I need?

All '72 and earlier trucks and '68 and earlier cars originally had the short water pump. This will typically place the alternator on the drivers side. You will of course need a short water pump, the correct pulleys and the correct mounting brackets for the accessories you will run on your engine. The year of the engine makes no difference as long as it is a GEN I small block. If the heads on your engine have the accessory bolt holes, then you can use the '68-'72 truck alternator brackets.
