Hello i was just wondering if chevy ever put a factory tacometer in 60-66 trucks.

Yes, it was an option. There's an article in the latest issue of "Classic Trucks" (or was it "Custom Classic Trucks"?) that details adding the tach to your cluster. It should tell you what you need to know as far as changing it out.

i bought a reproduction tach from i think?the truck shop.it bolted right into my guage type dash.

Yes it was a factory option, I have an original tach dash, all gauges are supposed to work, but I haven't checked.
