Help me Decide!
Seems like a good deal just don't know if I want to tackle all the rust. Especially inside at the window.
What do you think? I don't want to make this a WIW so I will tell you that i am about to pay $1100 for it and consider that a pretty good deal. I can always sell for parts....... A/c, p/s, disc on front, doesn't run, bed has rust in it, needs rockers and one cab corner and rust repair at inside top of window. Argh!!!! Want it bad......

Re: Help me Decide!
Amazing how people will park a truck and let it rust out before deciding to sell. I've seen a lot of people do that. They always tell you they intend to fix it up someday. When it's finally rusted to the point of no return, they decide to sell.
I usually draw the line on upper cab rust. I've seen a lot of them rust there and since I'm not a body person, I pass on that. Overall, $1100 sounds like a reasonable price if you if you have parts that can be reused. |

Re: Help me Decide!
Yeah....I figure the radio alone would get me a third of the way there.....
Upper cab rust to me means a lot more rust you don't see in other places. However, I could always swap cabs. Shortbeds are getting hard to find without paying $5k plus.

Re: Help me Decide!
now its not coming to me.....wanted to deliver tomorrow for more money....
Can't do it. Don't like the idea of rust at the inside header at front window any way. Its on Craigs List if anyone is interested. Still looking now I guess....bummer I just cleaned out the garage.
