Got my bed painted!!!! Finally
Sure makes a long project when you get the cab done way before the bed!!!
Went in this morning (Sun) and painted the bedsides, front panel, 'clean' rear bumper, t-light bezels, and rear sill. Wetsand and buff and she'll be ready to put back together! Can't wait to put it on the truck!!

Re: Got my bed painted!!!! Finally
Thanks guys,
Yes, I did fill the seam with a VERY slight coat if flowable putty. I had to metal patch about 3" on one of the bedsides, so it closed up the gap just a bit, so I HAD to do away with that area, so I decided to do it all including the other bedside to match. I did the same with my last C10 and it held up fine.

I ran out of paint so I had to make a new batch (custom mix!) and the bedsides were the first to get painted in the new batch. Wetsanded all the parts today! Hope to have the bed on by this weekend. I'll do the wood later.

Re: Got my bed painted!!!! Finally
You know that color and combination looks like it SHOULD have come from the factory. The truck just looks right from every perspective. Very talented man!

One of the best looking trucks I've seen on here.
The color is superb.
