Roadstershop REVO IFS
REVO IFS is a new standard. To create a new standard we had to start from scratch. REVO has been created from the ground up, leaving behind the antiquated Mustang II geometry and ride quality where it firmly belongs: in the past.
Controlled roll centers, eliminated bump steer, and CAD optimized camber and caster curves provide a suspension that offers the absolute best combination of ride quality and street performance. With 5.5” of wheel travel and positive and negative bump stops, the REVO front end allows smooth articulation through the full range of motion, creating the most comfortable, balanced and street friendly dynamics possible within this package. A new and innovative integrated sway bar design allows the use of a 1” OD splined sway bar tube, with no external mounting necessary. The carefully designed packaging leaves one of the smallest crossmember footprints available today, leaving you with more room and clearance to position your drivetrain where you want it without compromise. The REVO front end has been designed from scratch using the latest CAD development software and design processes. 115 unique components were designed and manufactured for this suspension, allowing a fresh design template to build the ultimate IFS without compromise. Keeping with the latest manufacturing processes to raise quality while controlling costs; laser, plasma, CNC milling and turning are all employed in the manufacturing of these components. With a years’ worth of in house development, the REVO IFS has been fine-tuned and streamlined to redefine the standard for street performance suspension. The REVO IFS will be offered as direct fit crossmembers for:
The REVO IFS will also be standard on the following Roadster Shop chassis:

Re: Roadstershop Icon IFS
Never any 73-87 love in the aftermarket...so sad 15yrs of truck and they never exist right? Haha. Well if it fits 67-72 then it fits a square.
I wanna see some install pics! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Roadstershop Icon IFS
Thanks for the compliments!
Big Rick.... I can do that for you.... and I would imagine we could figure out some custom cup holders for you too Insidious.... We could certainly do one for the 73-87. We only need a truck to build it off of as we have not had a 73+ in the shop for a chassis yet. Scoti,... yes, we are excited about it too! |

Re: Roadstershop Icon IFS
What rack is used and is there an option to go with a manual rack? We've all seen your C10 that competed in the Optima Challenge and were very impressed. Do you have any 67-72 trucks that are using your front crossmember instead of your FT chassis?

Re: Roadstershop Icon IFS
Its amazing how many people actually paid attention to that little orange and white farm truck You could go with a manual rack however, I would not recommend it. The geometry being what it is and the ability to dial in more castor with using todays wider/stickier tires..... A vehicle with a little weight to it would be tough to steer on low speed. We don't have any completed crossmember only 67-72's yet.

Yes, you are correct... now if you are doing crossmember only, I would suggest reinforcing the existing chassis to eliminate the natural flexing the OE chassis are prone to. |

Re: Roadstershop Icon IFS
Tony, I got a 78 GMC StepSide that I am willing to drop off at your shop for you and the crew to use as a test vehicle/mule for a year. If some new 'pieces' get left on the truck when I pick it up then so be it. Let me know.
Insidious, is right 73-87 is usually left out by the aftermarket.

Re: Roadstershop REVO IFS
ST1.... I appreciate the offer and don't worry, the 73-87 may feel like the step child but as it continues to increase in popularity the aftermarket will follow.
