Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
Finished it up this morning and gave it a good bath to get the garage dust off. After checking all the oil levels and giving it a good final inspection, I took it for the maiden voyage. I had one small fuel drip at the filter nut, but other than that, everything went well. I have an appointment Monday to get the front end aligned. It's been a 14 year project and I can't believe it's done. The odometer reads 5.8 miles! Oh, BTW, That brown spot in the center of the tailgate is a bird that flew by just as I snapped the pic. LOL
Here's a few pics.

Re: Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
Congrats on finishing the truck! It looks great! I bet it does feel good to get it done after all these years. I don't see many people take the time to do it right and many get burnt out on long projects. 'Hats off' to you on your project. What are you going to do now that its done? I think you need a short fleet the same color for a new project!

Re: Finally!!! The Maiden Voyage!!!
That's a really nice truck.
On one hand it would be a shame to drive it and have the possibility of damaging it, but on the other hand a truck that nice looking should be enjoyed as much as possible!!!
