visors from LMC do not fit right
The visors from LMC, for my 1966, do not "hang" correctly. I ordered the 'metals' and black visor shields from LMC. The angle they fit at, both sides, makes them droop on the free end when I have them in what I'd call a neutral position--in the position where you'd leave them to take pics from a front-on position. Tried washers to tilt them, bending into correct pos'n., even cracked one of the housings with the 3 holes in it. Tried swapping sides: no joy.
Who has bought ones that are correct? And from whom? I really only need the metal parts, as my 'shields'/shades(that slide onto the stem-portion of metal part) are fine. Thanks, all. Sam |

Re: visors from LMC do not fit right
I got a set from Classicparts.com. They fit good but I over-tightened one side and cracked the same part you did. It seems they are pot metal. Now I wish I would have looking in the wrecking yards and just replaced the visor part that slides on.
