Will 6 Cyl Front Springs drop much when I swap to a 454??

I am wondering if I need to buy front drop springs or not? with the added weight difference when going to a 454 from my stock 6 cylinder, will they act like a drop spring at all??
I would like to go 4 or 5 inch drop in the front, it would be nice if these stockers would go down about 2 inches.. I will buy drop spindles to add to the drop.

anyone test this?

You are dead on - they should drop around 1.5-2".
