Here's why. My best friend Mark V. Bought this 68 in 05 Started going strong on the resto. then in 07 woke up one morning and went to buy a 07 Road King. Hasn't touched the truck since. He has all new parts, body work done. We need to inspire him to finish this Bad A$$ truck. Post Pics of your 67-68 Short Fleets.

Well at first thought I would say it was just a short term affair but it's been 3 years now so I don't know. We may have lost him. Sounds like the hard stuff has been done already. Somebody needs to drop an engine down in that thing and let him hear it bust off. That'll get him turned around.

I've got three harley's; a '57 XL Sportser, '02 Duece, and '04 Ultra Classic, as well as a few other bikes... but I'm still always just as stoked on the '67-72's!!
And his project there has me jealous! I want it.
Sounds like your buddy needs to realize what he's got there. As unfortunate as it is, everyone and their cousin and their brother's mother's son has a Harley these days, a dime a dozen. Not the same case for the classic trucks!

Yes we may have lost him. Body work is done just needs paint.

That's funny, I do not recall the owners name but I believe that is the same truck that showed up at Vintage Chevy in Fremont, CA one day when I was there purchasing some parts. The owner of VC snapped up a few pics of our trucks together. I do know that it was a father/son project and it is one super nice truck. Check out the link below:

I thought that truck was built by Rick Parson but I can't find an article on line.
