71 C10 Longbed

Hello all, I just got a 71 C10 Deluxe Longbed that I am going to restore. It was my grandpa's farm truck that I rode around in all the time when I was little. My grandma finally agreed to let me have it and restore it. It seems to be in pretty good shape. I drove it last night and it runs well, 350 motor. I am really excited to get started on this truck, but it is the first one I am going to restore any advice? The body seems to be in pretty good shape, rust in the usual places and may need to replace driver's side door. My grandpa passed away in 2004 and my dad told me he always wanted to restore this truck but never got around to it. Thanks in advance for any advice and God bless.

Re: 71 C10 Longbed

to the board from CA, we need pictures. Advice varies on the definition of restoration. Whatever route you decide on, you have a great resource here on this board
