New guy here...
I just aquired a 1972 CST K-5 Blazer, my dream vehicle. It looks like it may be more of a nightmare as parts are scarce for these, eh? I;m here on the east end of long island ny. Where can I find parts in abundance?

Welcome to the board from the Pacific Northwest!
Parts are actually quite readily available and more reproduction parts are being produced all the time. There are a ton of vendors on this board more than willing to sell you new and used parts. The parts board is an excellent source too. Definately, sign up to get the LMC Catalog (http://www.lmctruck.com/). Even if you don't order parts through them, they have nice illustrations. Brothers (http://www.brotherstrucks.com/), ChevyDuty (http://www.chevyduty.com/), and The Truck Shop (http://www.truckandcarshop.com/)all have nice catalogs too. Some of the vendors on the board are, Wes at http://****************.com/, Mothertruckers (http://www.mothertruckers.net/), GMCPaul (http://www.gmcpauls.com/), Tim Christian (http://www.christiansclassics.com/), Frank at Pickmup's (send him a PM or call him)– there are serveal over others so someone else add to the list. Post a picture of your truck when you get a chance and please fill out your profile. Although you listed your location in this thread, there are thousands of board members and ya never know if someone just down the street may have the parts you need some time down the road.

just curious, is your blazer copper colored with a white top, 4 speed, aluminum directional wheels, and some body damage on the passenger side?
