Where can I look to figure out what transmission I have in my 72 K10?

If it's an auto crawl under and look at the pan shape.

In 72 the only four speed offered in a K10 was the Muncie CH465/SM465.
Its there on your SPID coded RPO M20. http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/sm465.htm
