Embarassing Drive Shaft Question

I cant believe I need to ask this question! I have pulled my share of one piece drive shafts but I have never removed a 2 piece. I am going to pull the turbo 400 in my 70 GMC 1/2 with a BB402 Saturday.

Can someone please tell me how to take the 2 piece driveshaft out? I would rather ask than mess something up!

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Dusty

Re: Embarassing Drive Shaft Question

Just unhook shaft from u-joint retainers at rearend, the unbolt carrier bearing should be 2 bolt, let it drop down and simply pull drive shaft yoke from out of the transmission tail.........................Kirby
